On Wednesday, 16 October 2019, Exxaro won two prestigious Silver Quill Awards from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Africa Region Silver Quill Awards programme.

Exxaro is thrilled to announce that it earned an award for Communication Excellence after having secured the top spot in not one, but two categories. The Excellence awards were won for both the Change Communication category and the Internal Communication category.

The IABC Africa Silver Quill Awards is one of the most prestigious communication award programmes in the world, recognising business communication excellence across the African continent. It emphasizes the importance of effective, excellent communication in securing and maintaining businesses’ reputation and their standing in the marketplace. Each submission is thoroughly vetted against IABC’s standard of excellence, awarding only companies where communicators can demonstrate the impact their work had on business goals and are innovative and unique.

Exxaro proved once again that no message is too big or too small for excellent communication, scooping both the Change Communication award for their ground-breaking #jointhemovement campaign and the Internal Communication Award for the transition to their new head offices based in Centurion known as the conneXXion.
